Sport, territory, and great wines: the Brescia stage at Franciacorta Golf Club on April 6.
The bond between the world of wine and golf grows even stronger. Freccianera is proud to announce its participation as a partner in the Golf&Wine Championship 2026, the first Italian traveling golf championship entirely dedicated to the wine excellence of Italy.
The circuit, officially presented at the Campidoglio, was created with the aim of promoting Italian food and wine heritage through sport, creating a unique synergy between competition on the green and territorial culture.
The Franciacorta Appointment
The heart of our participation will be the stage on Monday, April 6, hosted in the prestigious setting of Franciacorta Golf Club A.S.D. in Corte Franca. On this occasion, the golf club will transform into an exceptional stage where 18 wineries from the territory, including Freccianera, will meet enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
The competition will feature teams composed of four players; each group will be paired with a partner winery, which will accompany the athletes throughout the entire experience.
Star of the glass: Freccianera Brut 25
For this special occasion, Freccianera will present its iconic Brut 25 for tasting, a Blanc de Blancs made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes that owes its name to its 25 months of maturation. A Franciacorta beloved worldwide for its smooth harmony, capable of combining a dry fragrance with a soft, fruity note: the ideal choice to celebrate the union of sport and a high-quality aperitif.
Beyond the Competition: The “Nineteenth Hole”
For Freccianera, golf is not only competition, but the sharing of values such as patience, the pursuit of quality, and respect for nature. At the end of the 18 holes, the day will continue with the awards ceremony for the winners and paired wineries.
The highlight will be the final food and wine tasting, the celebrated “nineteenth hole”: a convivial occasion where participants will be able to discover and taste our sparkling wines paired with a Franciacorta risotto prepared by the Club’s restaurant.
Solidarity and Culture
The Golf&Wine Championship tour is not only sport and taste, but also social commitment. The journey will conclude in September with a grand charity gala in Rome, whose proceeds will be donated to the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital to support accommodation projects for the families of young patients.
