The winery’s Franciacorta stands out among more than 18,000 wines in blind tastings by top international experts.
Freccianera’s Riserva Casa delle Colonne Zero wins the Platinum Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025, the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. The Platinum Medal, the most prestigious of Decanter’s awards (137 worldwide, 30 in Italy, of which only 3 go to sparkling wines), honors the artistry with which Freccianera produces its reserves with 10 years of maturation, but it is not the only recognition earned by the winery this year.
In fact, DWWA also awarded the Gold Medal and high scores to the vintage wines Freccianera Rosa (95) and Freccianera Nature (96), two of the four Franciacorta wines that earned this year’s Gold Medal.
These results are complemented by other reports from Decanter:
- Freccianera Riserva Casa delle Colonne Brut 2015 – 94 points, Silver Medal
- Freccianera Extra Brut 2021 – 92 points, Silver Medal
- Freccianera Blanc de Blancs 25 Brut NV – 92 points, Silver Medal
- Freccianera Satèn Brut 2021 – 90 points, Silver Medal
Rejoicing at the winery over these awards, which add toFreccianera’s impressive list of accolades, the result of a consistent and distinctive winemaking vision that enhances each and every bunch in the vineyards through long aging, precision and respect for time.
Each label is born from selected grapes, interpreted with a clear vision: to bring the essence of Franciacorta into the glass, with personal style and a mineral tension that is the winery’s distinctive signature.
